Summary

This study works with 250 high-risk pregnant and postpartum women, their families, and healthcare providers in five rural Mississippi counties. The goal is to improve trust in the healthcare system and increase health literacy through community partnerships. Researchers hope this will lead to more women attending postpartum visits and better support from family, ultimately reducing severe pregnancy-related health problems and deaths.
