Summary

This study looks at how safe and well-tolerated the diabetes medicine empagliflozin (taken with or without metformin) is for people with type 2 diabetes in Pakistan. About 2,000 adults aged 18 to 65 whose blood sugar is not well controlled will take the drug and be monitored for 6 months. Researchers will track side effects like low blood sugar, infections, and stomach issues, as well as changes in blood sugar and weight.
