Summary

This research study aimed to understand how emotions like stress or excitement affect speech control in young children. It compared 68 preschool-age children who stutter with typically fluent peers. Children repeated phrases after viewing different images while researchers measured their speech movements and physical responses to see how emotional states influence speech.
