Summary
This study is testing a new counseling program designed to help people cope with the emotional distress that often follows a severe flare-up of COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). The program involves ten sessions over three months with a specialized nurse and a team of other health professionals. The main goal is to see if this type of support program is practical to run and if it helps improve patients' emotional well-being and quality of life.
