Tapping away fear: new study tests EFT for thyroid surgery anxiety

Summary
This study looks at whether Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), a simple tapping therapy, can help reduce anxiety and fear in people waiting for thyroid surgery. About 70 adults will either receive EFT plus standard nursing care or standard care alone. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety and fear using questionnaires before and after the treatment.
