Can tapping away stress ease period pain? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06557070
Summary
This study tested whether a mind-body practice called the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) could help reduce symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Researchers worked with 70 female nursing students who experienced PMS. They compared a group that received eight weekly EFT sessions—which involves tapping on specific points while focusing on the issue—to a group that received no special treatment, to see if it improved their symptoms and quality of life.
