This completed study looked at whether Emotional Freedom Technique (a type of tapping therapy) can help people who had obesity surgery feel less afraid of moving and lower their risk of bedsores. 148 adults who had the surgery took part. The researchers measured fear of movement and pressure sore risk before and after the therapy.
