Mapping emotions: how pain changes where kids feel feelings
NCT ID NCT05902234
Summary
This study aims to understand how chronic pain might change where children feel emotions in their bodies, and how their parents experience emotions physically too. Researchers will work with 600 Finnish-speaking children with pain and their parents to create 'emotional bodymaps'. They want to see if pain duration, location, mood, or experiences like bullying affect these emotional sensations.
