Summary

This trial tests whether a 6-session skill development program can improve emotion regulation, reduce experiential avoidance, and lessen compassion fatigue in oncology nurses. Sixty-six nurses working in cancer care will be randomly assigned to the program or usual care. The study measures changes in emotion regulation difficulties, emotion regulation skills, and compassion fatigue before and after the program.
