Summary
This study compares two behavioral programs designed to help children with autism better manage their emotions and daily routines. 144 children ages 8-12 will participate in either an emotion regulation program or a school skills program, attending sessions twice a week for 5 weeks. Researchers will track emotional outbursts, organizational skills, and hospital visits over 7 months to see which approach works better.
