Summary
This study tested whether emotion-focused therapy (EFT) can help people with bipolar disorder become more aware of their moods and less reactive to emotional triggers. Fifty adults with bipolar disorder in remission took part, with half receiving EFT sessions during a hospital stay. The goal was to improve treatment adherence and emotional control, which are key for managing this lifelong condition.
