NCT ID NCT07577687

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 28, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special relaxation training (EMG-biofeedback) to a standard exercise program can reduce pain and improve jaw function in people with temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD). About 40 adults with TMD will be split into two groups: one gets exercise alone, the other gets exercise plus biofeedback. Researchers will measure pain, jaw movement, and quality of life before and after 5 weeks of treatment.
