Summary
This study aims to see if a new national guideline for how quickly patients need emergency surgery can reduce serious complications and deaths. It will follow 2,500 adult patients across multiple French hospitals in 2027 to measure their recovery 30 days after surgery. The goal is to create a standardized system that helps doctors prioritize the most urgent cases and improve planning.
