Race against time: new method aims to save more newborns in delivery room emergencies

NCT ID NCT06915467

Summary

This study is testing a faster way to give life-saving adrenaline to newborns who experience cardiac arrest during birth. Researchers will compare a new, quicker umbilical vein injection method through the umbilical cord's jelly-like tissue against the current standard approach. The goal is to see if this faster method can help restore a baby's heartbeat more quickly during these critical emergencies.
