Summary

This study aims to find the most effective emergency room method for cooling people with dangerously high body temperatures (hyperthermia). Researchers will test three common cooling techniques—cooling packs, ice sheets, and ice-filled body bags—on 50 healthy volunteers. The goal is to gather knowledge to help emergency departments improve their treatment protocols for heat-related illnesses.
