Summary

This study tested whether Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy can reduce PTSD symptoms in adults. 70 participants with moderate-to-severe PTSD were split into two groups: one received EMDR therapy, the other waited. Results showed that EMDR led to meaningful reductions in PTSD symptoms compared to no treatment.
