New hydrogel could stop dangerous bleeding without surgery

Summary
This study tests a new gel called Embrace Hydrogel Embolic System to stop bleeding from arteries in organs and limbs. About 130 adults with active bleeding will receive the gel through a catheter. The goal is to see if it safely stops bleeding without needing extra procedures or surgery.
