Summary
This study tested whether injections of deoxycholic acid, sold as Embella, can safely reduce flank fat (love handles). Thirty adults with mild to moderate flank fat received up to 4 ml of the drug over two visits. Researchers measured aesthetic improvement and side effects at 12 weeks.
