Summary
This study tested a drug called Embella (deoxycholic acid) to reduce flank fat, also known as love handles. Thirty adults with mild to moderate flank fat received injections, and doctors rated the improvement at 12 weeks. The goal was to see if the treatment is both effective and safe for cosmetic fat reduction.
