New device could drain fluid from heart failure patients

Summary
This study tests a device called the eLym System in 70 adults hospitalized for acute decompensated heart failure with fluid overload. The device is placed temporarily to drain excess lymphatic fluid from the chest. Researchers will check if it is safe and helps remove fluid, improve symptoms, and reduce hospital readmissions over 6 months.
