Tiny study aims to sharpen MRI scans by tweaking dye injection
NCT ID NCT07346131
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests how the speed and volume of a contrast agent injection affect MRI image quality. Ten healthy volunteers will each have five abdominal MRI scans with different injection methods. Three radiologists will then rate the images to find the best approach, which could help improve future scans.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
gadopiclenol (a gadolinium-based contrast agent)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could help doctors choose the best injection method for clearer MRI images, potentially improving diagnosis.
What could go wrong
This is a very small, early-phase study in healthy volunteers, not patients. Results may not apply to real-world medical imaging or different populations.
