Doctors look back at treatment for rare childhood blood disorder
NCT ID NCT07415083
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see how safe and effective a drug called eltrombopag was when used with standard therapy in Korean children with severe aplastic anemia. It involved 13 children who were newly diagnosed and followed their progress over 6 months. The goal was to understand real-world results, including side effects and how well the treatment worked to improve blood counts.
