Summary
This study tested a laser eye surgery system called ELITA to see if it could safely reduce or eliminate nearsightedness and astigmatism. It involved 96 adults with stable vision prescriptions who wanted to improve their eyesight. The goal was to see if the procedure could help people see clearly without glasses or contacts, but the study was stopped early.
