First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a non-invasive electrostimulation treatment can relieve symptoms like dryness and pain in people with chronic ocular graft-versus-host disease (oGVHD), a complication of bone marrow transplants. Fifteen participants will receive 10 treatments over 8 weeks. The goal is to see if the treatment improves eye comfort and helps regrow damaged corneal nerves.
