Ancient healing meets modern tech to ease stroke Patients' constipation
NCT ID NCT07372326
Summary
This study tests whether a modern electronic version of traditional moxibustion therapy can help relieve constipation in people recovering from stroke. Researchers are comparing a combination treatment (moxibustion plus ear point therapy) against moxibustion alone to see which works better. The study involves 105 stroke patients who developed constipation after their stroke and will measure how quickly bowel movements return and symptom improvement.
