First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether different frequencies of electroacupuncture can improve swallowing problems in people who have had a stroke. About 90 participants will receive low, medium, or high frequency stimulation to the neck muscles. The goal is to find the best frequency and understand how it helps the brain rewire swallowing control.
