First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding electroacupuncture at a specific point (Zusanli, ST-36) to standard diabetes care can improve wound healing in people with diabetic foot ulcers. About 76 adults with mild to moderate ulcers will either get standard care alone or standard care plus daily electroacupuncture for four weeks. Researchers will measure changes in wound grade and blood flow to see if the acupuncture helps.
