Zap your cramp? study tests electric stretching for tight legs

NCT ID NCT06626698

Summary

This study tested whether using electrical stimulation during stretching works better than regular static stretching for adults with tight calf muscles. Researchers compared the two methods in 56 people to see which one improved ankle flexibility and strength more in the short term. Participants had their range of motion and muscle strength measured before, during, and after a single session of their assigned stretching technique.
