Ear stimulation device offers new hope for better sleep in the visually impaired
NCT ID NCT06956118
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle electrical stimulation device worn behind the ears can safely improve sleep for adults with visual impairment. Up to 60 participants will use either the real device or a look-alike inactive version for 30 minutes a day over 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in sleep quality and overall well-being to see if the treatment is helpful and practical.
