Zapping the ear to spot balance disorders
NCT ID NCT07267910
Summary
This study aims to see if applying weak electrical currents to the head can help doctors better diagnose inner ear balance disorders. Researchers will test 30 people who already have conditions like vestibular schwannoma or neuritis. During a single session, participants will have their balance measured while receiving gentle electrical stimulation to see if it creates a detectable response.
