Summary

This study tested a new rehab method using gentle electrical pulses to stimulate the calf muscles after an Achilles tendon tear. The goal was to see if this could reduce muscle loss and improve tendon healing compared to standard rehab. Only 8 people were enrolled before the study was stopped.
