Could a 'Zap Glove' help kids regain use of their hand?

NCT ID NCT06536634

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a special electrical stimulation therapy to standard hand therapy can improve arm and hand function in children with hemiparesis (weakness on one side of the body). Children aged 6-18 will use a glove or electrodes at home for 30 minutes a day, five days a week, for five weeks. Researchers will compare this group to children receiving only standard therapy to see if the electrical stimulation leads to better results.
