Surgery tools leave a digital 'Fingerprint' - could this train better surgeons?

NCT ID NCT06873347

Summary

This study aims to see if different types of surgeries create unique electrical signal patterns, like a digital 'fingerprint', when using standard surgical tools. Researchers will record these signals from 160 patients undergoing specific procedures to build a database. The goal is to use these patterns in the future to help surgeons train and improve their techniques.
