Simple home fixes tested to stop elderly falls
NCT ID NCT07458958
Summary
This project in Guangzhou is testing whether simple home modifications, like adding anti-slip mats and better lighting, can prevent dangerous falls in older adults. It will involve 320 seniors living in the community who are at risk of falling. Over 12 months, researchers will compare the fall rates between a group that receives the home safety upgrades and a group that does not.
