Summary

This study aimed to find the best way to prevent depression in older adults living in urban communities. Researchers tested three different levels of community-based programs, ranging from general health education to targeted therapy sessions, on 327 participants aged 60 and over who were at risk for depression. The goal was to see which approach was most effective at keeping depression from developing.
