Can a new nursing home model improve life for seniors and reduce staff burnout?
NCT ID NCT07508878
Summary
This study aims to understand how a new type of nursing home, called an 'academic nursing home,' affects residents and staff. It focuses on person-centered care, which tailors support to each individual's needs and preferences. Researchers will follow about 600 elderly residents and care staff over two years, using surveys and interviews to track changes in health, well-being, and job satisfaction. The goal is to gather knowledge to help create better, more sustainable care environments for everyone involved.
