Summary
This study looks at whether a risk assessment screening and a short caregiver training can help prevent elder abuse in people with dementia. About 1,000 caregivers will fill out surveys and some will receive the screening or training. The goal is to see if these tools reduce caregiver stress and improve safety for the person they care for.
