First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests if blocking a small artery in the elbow with microscopic beads can safely reduce pain from tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis). The procedure, called elbow artery embolization, aims to decrease blood flow to the painful area. About 25 adults with moderate-to-severe elbow pain that hasn't improved after at least 6 months of standard treatments (like physical therapy or steroid shots) will take part. Researchers will measure pain and arm function changes over 12 months.
