Strap-on support: simple brace aims to steady steps for kids with CP

NCT ID NCT07122362

Summary

This study tested whether adding a special elastic leg brace to standard physical therapy could improve walking and balance in young children with spastic cerebral palsy. Researchers compared therapy alone to therapy plus the brace in 26 children who walk with their toes pointed inward. The goal was to see if the gentle, supportive brace could help correct their walking pattern and make them steadier on their feet.
