Bands or weights? finding the best exercise for heart recovery
NCT ID NCT07331584
Summary
This study compared two types of strength training to help people recover after heart bypass surgery. Researchers tested whether using elastic resistance bands or traditional free weights (like dumbbells) was better for improving patients' ability to exercise, their lung function, and their overall quality of life. The goal was to find the safest and most effective exercise method to guide better recovery programs after this major surgery.
