Stretch to stop sores: simple band exercise aims to prevent diabetic foot ulcers
NCT ID NCT07229794
Summary
This study is testing if a simple foot and ankle exercise program using an elastic band can prevent painful foot ulcers in people with diabetes-related nerve damage. About 80 participants with type 2 diabetes and neuropathy will either do the exercises three times a week for a year or be in a comparison group. The main goal is to see if the exercises lower the number of new foot ulcers.
