New antifungal drug aims to beat deadly mould infections

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called EL219 against the usual treatment for early suspected invasive mould infections. About 80 adults at high risk, such as bone marrow transplant recipients, will take part. The goal is to see if EL219 is safer and more effective at reducing deaths and serious side effects.
