Computer alerts aim to stop HIV before it starts

NCT ID NCT05245201

Summary

This study is testing a new computer alert system for doctors. The system flags patients who might be at higher risk for getting HIV, so doctors can discuss and prescribe a daily pill to prevent it. The goal is to see if this tool helps doctors prescribe this preventive medication more often in community health centers.
