NCT ID NCT05427240
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether getting genetic counseling for hereditary cancer online works as well as meeting with a counselor in person. About 1000 adults who are at risk for inherited cancer will either use a web-based program or have standard counseling. The goal is to see if the online option is just as good at educating people, reducing anxiety, and helping them decide whether to get tested.
