Eggshells used to regrow bone in gum disease patients
NCT ID NCT07160101
Summary
This study tested whether a new bone graft material made from eggshells could help regrow bone lost due to severe gum disease. It directly compared this eggshell-derived material to a standard bone graft material. The goal was to see which one was better at helping the bone heal after gum surgery.
