Can a daily egg help babies grow smarter and stronger?
NCT ID NCT04316221
Summary
This study tested whether giving babies one egg every day, along with standard nutrition care, could improve their growth and development better than standard care alone. It involved 1200 infants in Guatemala, starting around 6 months old, and followed them for six months. Researchers measured the children's development, growth, and diet quality to see if the simple, affordable egg intervention made a difference.
