Tapping away thyroid surgery fears
NCT ID NCT07454044
Summary
This study is testing if a simple technique called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) can help reduce anxiety and fear in people before they have thyroid surgery. EFT involves gentle tapping on specific points on the body while focusing on the anxious feelings. Researchers will compare anxiety levels in 70 patients who receive either standard care alone or standard care plus the EFT session before their operation.
