Tapping away pain: new study tests EFT on bypass patients
NCT ID NCT07120932
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) — a method that combines tapping on certain body points with focused thoughts — can help people who have had coronary artery bypass surgery. Researchers will compare 33 patients who receive EFT plus standard care with 33 patients who receive only standard care. The goal is to see if EFT reduces pain, eases heart-related anxiety, and improves sleep quality.
