Tapping away heart surgery pain? study tests emotional freedom technique

NCT ID NCT07120932

Summary

This study aims to see if a mind-body practice called Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) can help people feel better after heart bypass surgery. Researchers will work with 66 patients to test if EFT, when added to standard care, can reduce their pain and anxiety and help them sleep better. The study will compare results between a group receiving EFT and a group receiving only standard hospital care.
