New hope for kids with tough cancer: Two-Year pill aims to keep neuroblastoma away

NCT ID NCT07278674

Summary

This study is testing whether taking the drug eflornithine for two years can help keep cancer from coming back in children with high-risk neuroblastoma who have already finished their main treatments, including immunotherapy. Researchers will follow 20 children under 18 to see if this maintenance therapy improves survival and is safe. The goal is to control the disease long-term after initial treatment is complete.
